Fall Sunday School classes

9:15 AM

CALLING ALL CHILDREN Pre-School thru 8th Grade! Come join us for the opening of Sunday School in the school gym on September 7 at 9:15 AM. We’ll begin our year of “Growing in Christ” with music, stories, crafts and activities. Every child is welcome! Every Child is special!

NOOMA – it’s the English phonetic spelling of the Greek word, “pneuma,” which is translated “spirit” or “breath.” Pneumatology, then, is the study of things spiritual – of the interaction between humans and God.

In that interaction, we want direction … but it has to be real for us, and available when we need it. We can get anything we want, from anywhere in the world, whenever we want it: NOOMA does this for us spiritually!

In a series of short film clips, each with a communicator that really speaks to today, NOOMA touches on issues that we care about, that we want to talk about – such as: “Noise,” “Luggage,” Kickball,” and “Dust.”

Curious? Good! Come each Sunday and learn more – about God, about you, about life! We meet in the Church Basement at 9:15 AM – coffee, cookies, connections with other believers … it’s all there waiting for you!

LifeLight: led by Lynn Genter in the Lower–Level Conference Room. LifeLight is a series of in–depth studies of Bible books. The goal of LifeLight is through a regular program of in–depth personal and group study of Scripture more Christian adults may grow in their personal faith in Jesus Christ, enjoy fellowship with the members of His body, and reach out in love to others in witness and service. Please join us . . . we will finish studying “Prophecy” (beginning September 7), and then study “Law & Gospel.”

FRIENDSHIP ABLAZE! Every day we work with, shop with, visit with, live next to, play on teams with, get our hair styled by, and get our cars fixed by people who need to know about Jesus and His great love for them. When our friendships are Ablaze! with the Holy Spirit’s power, we become more and more aware of these people in our lives. Who is the person God wants you to reach? And how do you go about doing this? Join Cathenry in the Conference Room, Sunday mornings during Bible Class to discover nonthreatening, sensitive, sincere ways to work along with the Holy Spirit to reach unbelievers.

Senior High Youth: led by Mark & Becky Denney in the Youth Room (above the Church Office). A Sunday morning Bible study that’s meant just for you . . . come and discuss issues facing all Christians using popular movies of today. Grab your Bible and your friends and join us upstairs in the “High School Hangout” room.
