ST. PAUL PRAYER LIST – Week of February 5, 2012

1. We pray for our Family of Faith: remembering those celebrating birthdays this week: John Allen, John Allen, Jr., Kathy Johnson, Kim Schroyer, Mike Denney, Joan Nance, Bryce Dane, Brenda Goebel, and Billy Wells. God be with you!

2. We lift up our loved ones with health concerns:

+ Kraig Elmer (at KU Med after aggressive chemo; awaits return of stem-cells)

+ a Member (undergoing 30-day in-patient treatment for alcohol/drug dependency)

+ Betty Harris (who has moved to Golden Living Center for physical rehabilitation)

+ Emilee Summers (doing very well following hospitalization for IV-antibiotics)

+ Walt Reindl (Mease neighbor, emergency angioplasty Friday at Shawnee Mission)

+ Donald Harris (moved temporarily to Golden Living Center as he regains strength)

+ Delphine Atkinson (Ken’s mother, preparing for knee replacement on February 15)

+ Don Wendt (Kevin’s dad, recuperating from double pneumonia & staph-infection)

+ Greg Jones (Becky Denney’s cousin, back on national liver transplant registry)

+ Madison Hill (daughter of Janice Denney co-worker, after surgery for scoliosis)

+ Daryl Moore (Janet Jackson-Knight’s brother-in-law, battling infection/blood disorder)

+ Karla Moore (Daryl’s daughter, Janet’s niece; recent tests show no cancer – PTL!)

We raise up our efforts in sharing the Gospel; for: … Andrea Herman, our “Together In Mission” missionary who serves as the Women’s Ministry Leader among the Muslim Maninke women of Siguiri, in Guinea, West Africa; … each of us, in all our joint and individual efforts to “be” the church among the unchurched and unbelieving. Let’s cultivate awesome relationships for eternity!

We pray for our Nation: seeking the Lord’s protection of those serving in our military to keep us safe (and for their families at home), especially: Jeff Bouma, Mike Forbis & Joshua Theno – in Afghanistan; Vaughn Strong – in Iraq; Victor Nelson – in Bahrain; Ben Malto & Luke Wendt – in Kuwait; Gary Peterman – in Djibouti.
