From The Pastor's Desk - Soul of the Christ (“Amina Christi” )

Below is a powerful prayer that I grew up with.  I was awoken from my sleep a few weeks ago with this prayer.  I think God was telling me something in my sleep.  While the words have changed over time, this is the version I grew up with.  I implore you to pay attention to the words and it will reveal the power in the prayer.  

Soul of the Christ (“Amina Christi” )

Soul of Christ, sanctify me.

Body of Christ, save me.

Blood of Christ, inebriate me.

Water from the side of Christ, wash me.

Passion of Christ strengthen me.

O good Jesus hear me.

Within Your wounds, hide me.

Separated from You let me never be.

From the malignant enemy, defend me.

In the hour of death call me,

that with Your Saints,

I may praise You forever & ever.

AMEN
